Yes! You can select messages from as many individuals as you wish and group them together into one Keepster. This feature allows you to create a Keepster (folder) based on groups or any significant topic or theme. The messages in your Keepster will appear chronologically.

Yes! A Keepster can contain messages from just one messaging platform or from a combination of them. If you chat with a person on more than one platform, you can now group your conversations together into one Keepster (folder). The messages in your Keepster will appear chronologically.

Keepster provides a great way to organize your messages into folders. 

Here is the process to create a Keepster:

1. Connect your iPhone to your Mac to create a backup of your messages.
2. Select a messaging platform from your backup.
3. Select a conversation (name or group) to view all your messages.
4. Scroll through messages (and photos) to select specific ones or choose the select all option. You can also search for specific messages by keyword and date. 
5. Once you have selected the messages you wish to keep, click the "Create a Keepster" button and name the folder.

Yes.  You can continue to add new messages to a Keepster folder once you have created it and added your first batch of messages.  Simply go to the Keepster folder you want to add new messages.  Then go to the "Edit Messages" tab and click the "Add Messages" button.  You will then be able to browse your backup and find the new messages you want to add to the folder.  Check out our "How to Edit Keepster Folders" video to see exactly how to remove messages from Keepster.

Yes, go to the Keepster where the messages are saved and select "Edit Messages".  Then find & select the message(s) you want to remove and press the "Remove Messages" button.  Check out our "How to Edit Keepster Folders" video to see exactly how to remove messages from Keepster.

You may only add up to 3,000 messages at one time. If you wish to save more than 3,000 messages to a folder, please repeat the process of selecting messages in batches of up to 3,000 until you have all the messages you want to be saved.

If you are trying to save more than 3,000 messages from 1 conversation, we recommend using the date filter to help limit the messages and keep track of the batches.  Check out our How to Save Thousands of Texts for more information.

There really isn't a limit to the number of messages you can save to a Keepster Folder.  Folders can contain thousands and thousands of messages.  However, Keepster Books have a limit of 800 pages.  If you've saved more than 800 pages worth of messages to your folder, you will need to remove some message before you are able to order a book.  For more details, see our blog post: How to Save Thousands of Texts.

YES.  We do our best to make sure that emojis show up properly when you save them to your Keepster Folders.  But, did you know there are over 3,000 emojis and new ones added all the time?  We try and keep up with all the newest emojis.  So, if you notice that an emoji didn't show up properly in your Folders let us know. The best way is to chat with us so we can get a screenshot of your broken emoji and fix it.
